NestList — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 May 2026

NestList ("the app") is a home-inventory tool that helps you catalogue your belongings for insurance purposes. This policy explains what data the app handles.

Data you enter stays on your device

Your rooms, items, photos, values, serial numbers, receipts, notes and settings are stored only on your device. NestList has no account, no login, and does not upload, sync, or transmit your inventory to us or any server. We (the developer) cannot see your data. Backups and reports (PDF/CSV/JSON) are generated locally and shared only when you choose to share them. Uninstalling the app deletes its data.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

NestList displays ads through Google AdMob. To show ads, Google's advertising SDK may collect and process certain information such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and general device information, in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads). We do not share the inventory data you enter with advertisers.

Camera & photos

The camera and photo picker are used only so you can attach pictures of your items and receipts to your inventory. These images are saved locally on your device and are never uploaded by the app.

Permissions

Internet/network access is used only to load ads.

Children

NestList is not directed at children under 13.
